Early Birthday Present
A couple weeks ago I found that one of my favorite singers, Gavin DeGraw, was coming to San Francisco for a concert. SOOO I begged (all though Ry really likes him) to go for my birthday. Last night was the concert and it was AMAZING! It was at The Great American Music Hall in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. Small, intimate, way cool.We stood in the very front, 4 short girls in front of us. It was so great to be so close!Angel Taylor opened for Gavin and she was awesome! She had the sound of like Corinne Bailey Rae/India Arie/Adele. And she was SUPER new to fans so she was funny. She even did the Beyonce "Single Ladies" dance!AND Gavin was unbelievable! He has such a unique voice and style. He changed his songs, did a Bob Marley rendition of his song "Next To Me" from his self titled album...it was great.By the end of it our feet were KILLING us, we went upstairs to sit in some chairs and take in the sound of his voice. I was thoroughly pleased and would recommend a Gavin concert to ANYONE who enjoys good music. And we got some great stamps on our wrists..."FRAGILE" (must be Italian!)
