Sunday Dinner

This morning Ryan and I prepared dinner to be baked tonight. MAN does it look good! It's a sort of Chicken Cordon Bleu but not breaded and Havarti cheese instead of Swiss. And a few other differences.

Here's what we did:

-Pounded 8 chicken breasts until they were about 1/4 inch thick
-Put 1 or 2 slices of ham and a slice of Havarti cheese in chicken, wrap chicken around it and secure with toothpicks
-Place chicken into glass baking dish
-Mix about a 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil with approx 1 TBSP minced garlic and approx 1 TBSP Oregano
-Brush EVOO mixture onto each chicken breast
-Either bake immediately or refrigerate a few hours

IT SMELLS SOOOO YUMMY! And we haven't even baked it yet! (Pardon my quick cell phone pic)

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.

My family is going to enjoy this thoroughly. We are serving it with steamed green beans, wild and long grain rice, and possibly side salads. My mouth is watering...
