Yum yum yummy yum yum!!

Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookies
-courtesy of www.twopeasandtheirpod.com- I changed a few things

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (I added about 1/2 c more to make less sticky)
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons butter (I used 4 tbsp)
7 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup plain yogurt (I used 2 eggs bc I didnt have yogurt)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Soft caramel pieces, rolled into little balls
Sea salt (I used regular salt)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Lightly coat baking sheets with non stick spray (original says to use Silpats)
Mix together flour, soda, and salt; set aside
Melt butter (original says to do it in a sauce pan, I did it on low in the microwave), add sugars and cocoa. Mix.
Add yogurt (or eggs) and vanilla
Add flour mixture until completely mixed
Spoon dough into hand, add a piece of caramel and wrap the dough around it. Do this for each cookie. Make sure the caramel is completely covered with dough or it will leak out in the oven!
Sprinkle sea salt on top, lightly press it so it will stick
Bake for 10 minutes

ENJOY!!
