Our Sweet Sammie

We love our little niece Sammie SO much. She is the sweetest little 2 year old. When she comes over to grandma and grandpa's house (she likes to call it Annies house sometimes) she never hesitates to run into our room and find RyRy. If Ryan isnt home from work yet she puts on her sad face and says "RyRys at work? When is he coming HOOOME?" and then continues to ask every 5-10 minutes if he's back yet.

One of her favorite things to do is SCREAM at Ryan. It is best explained by this video:

If Sammie is around and Ry and I are in our room, she comes in and climbs into bed with us. She always wants to be a part of what we are doing and we dont mind one bit!

Ryan loves to wind down from his work day by solving Rubiks cubes and Sammie likes to help him:The other night, Sammie was upstairs in Annie's room watching "The Pig Movie" aka Charlotte's Web. She has watched that movie a million times but had never seen the end until the other night. She saw when all the animals came back to the barn and Charlotte the spider was not there. Sammie asked Annie "wheres Charlotte?". Anne wasn't prepared to explain death to Sammie so she told her that Charlotte had to go home. Sammie saw the tears in the eyes of the other animals and knew this was a sad thing. When Sammie came downstairs to be with the rest of us we asked what she had been doing upstairs, she stopped and got very serious...she proceeded to say "I was watching the piggy movie, the spider had to go home!" She had tears in her eyes and kept repeating "Charlotte went home! The spider went home! Piggy was sad!" until she was full on crying. Our hearts just ripped apart and Mike picked her up and comforted her. Our tender-hearted two year old understood that it was a sad ending to the movie. I think its safe to say that Annie wont be showing Sammie the ending to that movie anymore.

Along with Sammie comes her baby brother Spencer. That kid is SO adorable and cuddly and chill. He rarely cries and is totally content to just hang out and watch Sammie run around. He's gonna be a little terror when he gets older though...we just know it! He loves his RyRy also:Just like Sammie, Spencer loves to listen to music and the other night was his first time DANCING!

S&S are the light of our lives around here. We can't wait to give them cousins to run around with.

I cant do a post about our loves without including Malaya and Makylie. We miss them SOOOO much and wish we could be with them as much as S&S! How could we resist these beautiful little girls??And really, if you mix Malaya and Sammie together Im sure you'll see what our little girls will look like one day.
